Expired ITV on car parked at airport

Heading back for the first time possible in the last 18 months next week. Our car has been with a parking company at Alicante airport all that time, the ITV has expired, but they've said they'll still bring it to the airport for me late at night when the flight gets in.

I'm trying to arrange a service and ITV for the next day but struggling with that as the company used to use doesn't exist any more and those taking up their business are so busy even communicating with them is difficult.

Question is, where do we stand driving the car back to the house without an ITV under these circumstances please? I'm hoping we're OK driving it a garage that is taking to an ITV when we finally get that booked but looking for general guidance on this driving without an ITV piece. Any advice please folks?

Thanks

Meant to say, just in case I don't get anything sorted with the garage, any recommendations in the area for someone who can do the service, get the car through the ITV, and in a perfect world have courtesy car please?

Thanks!

You can not drive a car without an ITV it has to be moved on a Grua if you are caught by the Guardia you will get a big fine and the car will be impounded
Ask the parking company to get it ITVd for you

Is it insured? Maybe the insurance company can get the grua to collect and take it to a garage? If it broke down they would. Give them a call.

Appreciate the guidance, thank you. I've asked the parking company, that's a great idea. Will see what they say.

Plan B will be to hire someone to take it to a garage to sort it out for me, any recommendations for anyone in the area please?

As JPEG said a grua has to collect it.
It cannot be driven on the road.
Hopefully the airport parking will help. Bet you're not the first!

Ha, probably not! The good news is the parking company has said they can get the ITV, they're away to check the battery still works ....

Thanks again for all the friendly advice.

We use Plane Parking who will organise ITV, servicing etc for you, I would have thought that your company would do the same.
