Spain called the Uk bluff on driving licence exchange
Spain told the Uk what was required over 16 months ago.
The ambassador said give us a few weeks at the beginning of May, now saying maybe end of July !!!!!!!
If the embassy negotiating team and the ambassador worked in industry they would have all been sacked !!!!!

Posted: Sun Jun 19, 2022 7:52 amI believe Spain is the only EU Country proving to be " difficult " with regards to this matter, has anyone within this forum considered why? Could it be because of the piece of rock at the bottom end of Spain that wishes to remain both independent and a British protectorate. Here in our ex pat immigrant bubble maybe, just maybe we forget there could be a bigger picture involved both legally, for the millions of UK holiday makers who as I understand it could have their driving details accessed by Spanish authorities with no prior legal representation, or politicaly for the inhabitants of said Rock.
