Looking for recommendations for car insurance please

Go to RightMove insurance in Quesada. They will give a competitive quote and use Liberty Insurance.
There's also Mapfre by Consum who check with several companies.
Caser.es will give you a quote on line but you have to provide your email details etc to get a quote.

Linea Directa (Direct Line) is not the same company as UK and can work out expensive but the insurance is very comprehensive.

Also recommend Donna at Rightmove Quesada,very good service.

I just got some quotes this week as I have been with the same company for nearly two decades. Previously it's gone up by neglible increments, but it went up 8% this year. They still gave me the best deal. Spanish Insurance (Generali) on C/ Los Arcos next to the British dentist.

All insurance companies only pay out in accordance with the T&Cs you sign up to. We have had occasional reason to claim over the years (on both car and property insurance) at Generali with no problem at all. I have no reason to doubt Rightmove would be equally as helpful, but their car insurance quote last week was considerably more expensive than Generali so I stuck with what I know. I would recommend any newcomer to Quesada to get quotes from both.

I shop around every year and Ibex insurance always come out cheaper. I had a claim a few years ago and it was handled swiftly and it didn't increase my next year's insurance. Highly recommended.
