Selling a car

Hi, I am selling my Spanish registered car to a Spanish gent tomorrow and have all thr required documents. Can anyone offer guidance on the transfer process? I believe it is up to the purchaser to notify traffico and pay the relevant fee and tax. Do I just give him the permisso de Circulation and technical documents and let him get on with it? I have a copy of a compraventa document that we can both fill out but would value any guidance from anyone who has experience on selling a car!

You have been warned you also need a contract of sale to be safe and add what time it was sold

According to Spanish law, it is the seller's responsibility to inform the trafico office of the sale within 15days, not the buyer!

If u go to the Right move or One way services in Quesada they can do the paperwork for u & send it off.

Here is a link for the wording of a contract of sale. Make sure you keep a signed copy for yourself. There is a link below the Spanish wording to help you withthe translation

JPeg posted this link for DGT facilities at Correos so you can complete the documentation for dgt at the Post Office. You will need to notify of transfer asap in case the buyer gets any fines
