Has anyone had the experience of taking their Spanish motor home back to the Uk and registering it on UK plates.
We are thinking of doing this with ours. It’s 2 years old. We brought it from new. Understand what we need to do for Uk documents but not sure this end in Spain. I know I will need to de register the vehicle in Spain and also need a certificate of conformity. Not sure if the c o c is acquired in Spain or UK though.

Are you moving back to the UK? or are you UK resident?

If moving back to UK, having lived abroad for over 12 months and owned vehicle for over 6 months, then you can import tax free.
If already a UK resident then, according to the link, you'll be liable for 20% VAT

I would expect the COC would have been supplied with the vehicle when purchased in Spain.
