Returned to UK in 2020 . We lived in Quesada for almost 4 years and registered our car in Spain. The car was bought in the UK as new. On returning to the UK we reregistered the car with our old British Number Plates. We thought that was the end of the matter.

We are visiting relatives in Quesada in June and are driving over with the same car and my relatives have asked if we deregistered the car in Spain on leaving because they have continued to receive Tax Suma which we have only just found out about. Do we have to deregister as we now have British Number Plates and the car is reregistered or is there a way it can be done from the UK.

Any advise would be welcome.
