Just over an hour's drive, North of Murcia & Archena off the A-30, they have just finished restoring the Noria Grande undershot water wheel which, at almost 12 metres diameter, is one of the largest of it's type.
But there are 4 wheels within a distance of less than 2 km within the Parque de Norias - waterwheel park.
Some spectacular scenary around the little town too.
Decided to drive back though the Ricote valley - Blanca, Ojos to Archena - a beautiful valley & reservoir which are part of the Rio Seguro.
