We've been there with our grandson who's now 7 and we can highly recommend it. Brilliant day out.

We went a couple of years ago and enjoyed it very much. Again don't pay full price -leaflets everywhere. Despite having heard some negative comments about the welfare of the animals I saw no sign of this and animal welfare seemed paramount. I was sorry the elephant was no longer there but apparently the owner took it elsewhere. Make sure you take some food to feed the animals (this was allowed when we went). You can buy some there. There was a lovely friendly giraffe who was quite happy to gobble carrots from your hand. Also in the petting corner lots of lovely goats and kids clambering over each other for treats. (There can be health risks from feeding animals so might be a good ideal to take some antiseptic hand wash).
