Hi all. Does anyone know roughly how long it takes from Quesada on the coach on the trip to guadalest and algar waterfalls?
And if the coaches have a toilet on board. We have a four year old boy and wondering if it might be a bit too long a trip for him. Thanks...Stu

It isn't too long as it's just inland of Benidorm - So maybe an hour and a half - However, I don't think there are toilets on board the coaches.

If you go take food and drink, as it's nice to have a picnic on the rocks around the falls and there isn't much in the way of shops (just kiosks) and the cafe's can get crowded at Guadalest itself.

Thanks for the info Jan. Will definately have a day out there. Picnic sounds nice or maybe pay the extra €10 and get lunch thrown in, if that's still an option. Thanks..stu.

Jan, do you know if there are toilets at the falls? The idea of a picnic sounds good with a glass of vino but I would need a loo if I ate and drank!

I would imagine that there are loos at the falls as you have to pay a small fee to go in. I can't remember that well, but everyone is eating and drinking so there must be 'facilities'.

I know there is a bit of a problem up at Guadalest. I was looking for a loo and only found one in a cafe, where it was expected that something was bought. Outside the Guadalest area while we were waiting for the coach, there was only one cafe and no other toilets around and a big sign on the cafe outside said 'Toilet for customers only' and they were turning people away who refused to buy anything to use them - Bit bad considering there were no public toilets (one of my pet hates!!). We had a drink and they gave me the key with a massive key fob, nearly bigger than me. It had to be collected and brought back to the bar!!!
