Jennifer is starting new classes in sculpture on Thursdays in the new year.
First one is on January 10th from 5pm to 7pm.
I did a few weeks with her a year ago & it is great fun working with clay - like playing with plasticine as a kid.

I learnt various techniques and then created from my own idea my sculpture 'callipyge' - Shown below with various 'work-in-progress' photos.
Don't worry that you have no artistic talent, just have a go and enjoy creating something unique.

Is this at the caves, Martin? I'd love to come along, but can't quite read the poster.

Yes, she uses one of the lower caves close to Santi's and beside the rentable cave house/artist retreat.

My latest sculpture - The naked truth emerges - is just finished today
If anyone else wants to have a go at sculpting with clay, I can recommend Jennifer's classes & I think she may still have a spare place available.

The story behind the sculpture is interesting:-

According to legend, one day truth and lie met.
-Good morning. Said the lie.
-Good morning. Answered the truth.
-Beautiful day. Said the lie.
Then the truth peeped out to see if it was true, and it was.
-Beautiful day, relied the truth.
-The lake is even more beautiful, said the lie.
Then the truth looked into the lake and saw the lie was telling the truth and nodded.
The lie ran to the water and said...-The water is even more beautiful. Let’s swim.
The truth touched the water with her fingers and it really was beautiful and trusted the lie.
They both took off their clothes and swam quietly.
A while later the lie came out, dressed in the clothes of the truth and left.
The truth, unable to dress with the clothes of the lie began to walk without clothes and all were horrified to see her.
This is how even today people prefer to accept the lie disguised as truth and not the naked truth. "
So the truth hid, but one day the truth will emerge to chastise the liars.
