Talk Quesada forum

I am interested in joining a local walking group, not mountaineering just exploring local places of interest and meeting new people. The La Marina Club are a great bunch of people but a lot of their walks mean travelling a long way from Quesada in both directions along the Coast which isn't possible for me. Anyone know of an alternative please ?

I have had problems finding a rambling local group, most tend to do mountain walking, which although I did enjoy it there is no way I can do it now. Shame

Why not start one in quesada?
I'm sure there would be good take up on this

There is a walking group in Algorfa, more or less local and simple walks. Every Thursday, meet outside on main road at Cecilia apartments at 10.30am. Sorry got no contact details but leader is Sally Walsh.

I also want to start walking again in this area I shall be in Bar lucas on the corner of the main street in Benijofar Monday morning 11.30am.
if anyone wants to join me for a coffee , to discuss starting a group . Look forward to meeting you .

how will you be recognised , though bar lucas was closed Monday ?or is that vero?

Bar Lucas is on the corner and just before the church opposite Casas Manuel Estate agent. Bar Sonja
is at the top of the hill being renovated. I think you are correct in saying Bar Lucas is closed on Mondays.
So cancell Monday and I shall be there on Wednesday 1st March 11am. Brown hair glasses and Brown bomber jacket with cream collar.I hope to meet some nice people to go easy walking with.

I think quasada gym run a walking club on a Thursday if you go on there fb page or website there's a time table
