Wish we were there, how ever hot it is! Those hot evenings are lovely - I can't remember when we last had a summer in the UK where we could actually sit outside comfortably in the late evening. So glad we have Quesada to come back to. 8-)

======================================

After being in Spain in June I have only one thing to say "No way, Jose!!" Agree with you, Jan, about the not so good summers, but I am still getting a suntan (without sunstroke!!) in my back garden. :dance: Hope to be going back in September but haven't made a booking yet!

We may be enjoying this short burst of day time warmth Sandra but when was the last time we managed to enjoy an al-fresco night outside for a meal or just sat out in the evening in the garden in the UK, without 'suffering' in a warm cardi or ending up going inside - I can't remember one organised event, that we've had or been to in the last ten years or so, that wasn't washed out or too cold.

We always have a certain evening get-together (starts about 5pm) with family & friends every August & each time we hope beyond hope that we can sit out in the garden. I love decorating the garden with lighting, bunting and even gazebo's for the possible light shower, or miraculous strong evening sunshine, and every year we end up indoors. The last two years we just looked out on our soaked through & dripping gazebo's and soggy bunting, without being able to venture out. The years before that I can't remember one evening where we spent more than a couple of hours (if that), doing our best to eat before it became too cool & going inside. We have never had a warm enough evening to stay outside..... oh for the generally guaranteed Summer in of Spain!

I'm sure I remember hot August nights in the UK of my youth...or is it the rose coloured glasses of reminiscence! :text-lol:

Amazingly, I have just been spammed by Russian (??) in box today!

Outside the temperature is well ..... scorching!! Yesterday I heard the planes practising overhead for the airshow today! I went out early morning today - as the roads get chockablock for the two days of the airshow. At least the people on the beach will be able to get suntans as they watch the show!!

Hi Rob, We had a night like that last Sunday - We were entertaining and were able to eat Al Fresco and stay outside until late, couldn't remember the last time we had been able to do that - Brought back memories of Summer in Spain!
