Weather end of October

I have had an enquiry from someone who is interested in renting my villa for a week at the end of October, but they have asked about the weather at that time of the year. I have never been out then and wonder if anybody could answer the question for me - I won't hold you to it if the forecast is not accurate ..... :lol:

Hello Anne, We have been here until mid-October quite often and it is always better than the UK. Last year the temperatures were unusually high right up until November and the whole of October was like mid-Summer except the nights were cooler but not cold like the UK. We have also had some heavy rain on a day or two in early October in between the sunny days.

Hopefully others may be able to give you a better idea of late October average weather.

I am finding that the weather is changing!! It seems to be getting hotter. It's just that I normally come out in September, and it has been warm, but as I used to do quite a bit of walking I always found it very pleasant. This September I think that it has been hot and humid - so probably, although there is no guarantee on the weather, it will still be very nice in October! As to the pool temperature, well that is another matter!!!;)

Hi, I,m usually out till the 3rd week oct and dont remember not being able to go to the beach or sunbathe, odd day with a little rain but bars still open!!!!! have wellies will walk LOL.

Hi Anne, Late Oct should still see the highs reaching 24 or 25 Degs with night lows around 15 or 16 degs so not that chilly in the evenings. Pool temperatures shoud still be around 22 oe 23. Rain in Oct can be a problem about one year in five when we get 2 or 3 days very heavy rain, the Gota Fria as they call it here but normally only 4 or 5 days ffor the month. showers or thunderstorms mainly. So all in all still great and on a par with a good week in the summer in the south of UK. Mike, ex meteo
