WEATHER LOCATION FOR QUESADA

A few of us from our sporting group got talking about “a frequent British topic” weather.
However, a couple of us had differing weather reports for Quesada using their weather Apps.
Finally, we found the problem, if you just key in “Quesada” you are more likely to be getting the older Quesada, located in Jaen Province in Andalucía.
It is far better to use “Rojales” and you will get the weather report for this area.

The nearest weather station is in Rojales on the hills here: Latitude: 38° 5' 17'' N - Longitude: 0° 42' 55'' W

I use accuweather and just have Ciudad Quesada Valencia stored in there no issue.

As an aside, there is a very amusing tripadvisor review I came across for Ciudad Quesada complaining of how unsafe it is and multiple street gangs etc. There’s replies saying it was nothing of the sort etc and quite clear the contributors are talking of the two different Quesada; the one in South America and the one in Spain.

If you follow the hashtag #quesada and #ciudadquesada on Instagram too you occasionally see a picture of a rainforest type environment of very different properties and then realise it’s a photo from the “other” Quesada.

There is of course another Quesada in Spain in Jaen province which is a very tranquil & pretty village.

When will people realise that they live in Rojales, Ciudad Quesada is a urbanization within Rojales.
