Best place to buy new TV

Best place to buy new TV

Postby Jan » Wed May 14, 2014 8:09 pm

Does anyone know the best place to buy a new TV not far from Quesada? We only need a small flat screen for our holiday home, as our old 'dinosaur' TV doesn't have a USB port and I want to start bringing my hard-drive to watch stuff while we are here.

I have looked online at Carrefour and the prices seem pretty good (almost on par with the UK) but just wondered if there is anywhere better.

Thanks for any help.

Jan.

Thanks Dot, I thought the prices looked quite competitive compared to some other places we looked.

Another place to check out in the Habaneras shopping centre is Miro. They may not have all of their online items in stock but are pretty well priced. http://www.miro.es/app/f/sc-3-12/televi ... E55DE60816
Does not harm to compare with Carrefour as you can walk over to Miro from the Carrefour car park.

Hi also check out Conforma and Media Markt at La Zenia they have some good offers and the new Mercaluz in Rojales, one of my neighbours told me they got a good deal on a TV and also washing machine from the latter.

Cheers

Personally I like Media Mrkt - either Elche just off the A7 or La Zenia Boulevard. Seem to offer a wider selection than Carrefour.

I bought a 32" LED at Media Markt last time over. Same TV in Carrefour was 20 euros more.

Be aware that even if your TV has a USB port that not all your films may necessarily play from your portable drive. It depends on what the built in media player, if it even has one, can read.
