Best places for pet supplies(CATS)?

As our two cats are flying out to join us later this month...need to get stuff for them! I am sure forum folk will have recommendations on best places to source things like good cat litter, litter trays etc, also different kinds of cat food? While they are not overly fussy, they like to have a variety and I can see that what's on offer at Consum is limited to about 3 brands so will need to stock up on other kinds too .

Also, wondering about recommendations for Vets. Do you normally register pets with a regular Vet here? Am in Benimar, I see the closest one is down by Plaza Differente, does anyone have experience of this vet ? Thanks in advance...

Good morning we always use Madagascar they have everything under the sun and Angel who works there speaks excellent English from our place it's a 25min drive but worth it,they do a discount scheme where for every 7 bags of food/biscuits we get one free and for our dog alone is worth €47.00 you also get a receipt with a discount I save them up for treats,they have a range of toys eg scratch posts wind up toys etc also working tabs flea treatment etc,find them cheaper then Veterpet which is just around the corner.Open 9.30/8pm apart from Saturdays that's til 2pm and they don't shut for a siesta!! Thanks Jules, had heard of Madagascar but wasn't sure where it was, now I know where it is from Jan's link ( Tx Jan) and will pay them a visit next week...!

Still interested for any feedback on the Vets in Benimar ( think they are called Benican vs others eg the one in Benijofar ) if anyone has experience of these. ...

benican don't have that much to choose in cat food but very helpful ..Carrefour has a very large selection of cat food but not all ways the cheapest ..as may of the vets have offers on sometimes ..

Madagascar for pet food etc. We have used Benican for our 2 dogs since we arrived in June and they are brilliant and speak English. No need to make an appointment, just turn up and wait, a lot of Spanish use them as well as ex-pats if all nationalities.

We are with veterpet in Quesada, very good and they also have pet hotel for dogs/cats in case you go away

Thanks all, have stocked up initially from Madagascar and ordered a large cat tree from Amazon es. Cats travelling next week. They are currently not too impressed by the sky kennel travel crates ( these are sitting in the UK front room so they get used to them before travelling) , are highly suspicious of what's being planned ( all cat owners will recognise that suspicious expression ) But it's a direct flight and will hopefully be all over before they have time to get really cross with me. And hopefully they'll settle into their new home without too much of a fuss.
