Borax

Hi. Does anyone know where I can buy borax locally? I've tried several places without joy.

The chemist sell it but it's small packets I've looked in DIY type places but no joy. I got a very large container in the states very cheaply but not seen it anywhere here apart from the chemist, think it was around 4 euros

Borax Banned In The UK & EU
To get started, it is important to know that in the UK and EU you can no longer buy borax. Back in 2010, the EU decided that the 'Borate' group of chemicals – the group that Borax belongs to – may be potentially hazardous to health. Borax was therefore banned from sale in the EU.

I'll check in my chemist tomorrow as they did have it a year ago

Sorry it was Boric acid I use and that's what I use for cockroaches, that's available in chemists. When you Google both it's the same compound?
