Cockroach Killer

Cockroach Killer

Does anyone know of any products they've used to stop and kill cockroaches...that actually work ?

I have various sprays etc but they just seem to be a killer rather than something to keep them away.

I use 2, one is called ORO and the other is Zum, both sprays and when sprayed around the edges of a room last for around 6 months. Worked well for us.

We mop the floors with a floor cleaner containing insecticide which we get from Mercadona. Every 6 months or so we spray the rooms with a cockroach spray we get from a Chinese supermarket (can't remember the name, in a black can beginning with X - something like X-pel) and we have no problems with ants or cockroaches.

Just make sure you go out for a couple of hours after spraying.

I have used ORO from Consum over 20 years. You spray it over the doorways after mopping the floors. If they walk on it, they flip over & die. Be careful with pets though. Spray around the edges when your pet is out

Buy a plug in called --- Pest Reject
Approx €30. From Leroy Merlin. We have had one roach in 14 months --- and it was dead !!! Takes about 4 weeks to become effective, so spray in the meantime. Works really well.

Would one cover the whole house or would you need one for each floor / room please?

I've got 4, kitchen and 3 bedrooms.
I believe the signal it gives out serves the circuit it's plugged into and going by Spanish electrics might be best to have one in kitchen and bedrooms ?

I was sitting alone reading when suddenly I heard a thud and saw a large black flying cockroach. Horror of horrors! I quickly closed the doors to keep it in and raced to find my grandson’s fishing net. Caught it and evicted him. How do we rid ourselves of these creatures? Not my favourite guests!

Use Zum or Oro, I've found these the best, slightly more expensive thanshop brands but I've found them the best. Spray around the edges like the skirting boards and it last about 6 months. It's a dreadful smell do do it before you go out.
