Curry Ketchup

Oh ok, I can see the curry...but mixing with ketchup sounds weird to me. Tomato and curry together makes a strange combo but now I will have to try.

I went to the Xmas markets in Dusseldorf/Cologne a couple of years ago. I thought I'd give the currywurst a go and it wasn't how I'd thought it would be. They put the sausage in a machine that sliced it and then covered it in the curry ketchup. Served on a little plastic tray with a little wooden fork. It was alright though. I'd have it again.

There was a German owned bar in town a while back that used to do them. The first time we were surprised to see ketchup like curry sauce, but actually it was delicious.
