Does anyone know where I could buy a charger for a kindle.

I bought a new kindle before I came over, assuming it would come with a charger, but it didn’t. My old charger doesn’t fit and neither does my husbands. Is the anywhere apart from Amazon that sells them. I don’t have a Spanish Amazon account.

Would a Chinese bazar have one?

You can not plug a Kindle into the mains it is rated at 5.25 volts 1 amp or 9 volt so you need a charger with a usb to min usb or a C cable connector depends on the model of Kindle If you bought it new there should have been a charger and cable in the box but you can buy then in all Chinese bazaars

Most new recent Kindles have a C socket for the usb to C cable that goes into the Amazon Charger some of them require a 9 volt charger but they all can be charged direct from a PC or Laptop usb connection with the correct cable (usb to min usb or usb to c connector )

Thanks guys. I’ll try these places. It’s just that kindle seem to change their charger every time they upgrade. I e had my original one for years, then my husband got a new one. My charger doesn’t fit his new o e, when my old o e packed in I ordered a new one and neither charger fit it. Just another way of making money from. You.

The reason your old charger doesn't fit is because Kindle has changed to a 'C' type USB.
Get a C type charger lead with a normal size USB end from the Chinese shop and plug it into any USB plug and plug it into the mains. I know this to be true as I have recently bought a new Kindle and it has the new C type port. My old one was micro USB.
