Good and Tasty Gluten-Free Bread

Good and Tasty Gluten-Free Bread

Postby robin foy » Fri Apr 08, 2016 8:46 am

Can anybody help with a local source of tasty Gluten-free bread please? Recently diagnosed with IBS/Coeliac, I am unable to eat most breads and pastries any more, and need to find a source for gluten-free food; not least for a tasty gluten-free bread.

Consum have a good selection of Sin Gluten stuff, bread, flour, crispbreads, cornflakes, pasta and biscuits and more... it just takes a bit of searching...

Sadly, most GF bread is not great but Mercadonna have some reasonable loaves

"Schar" "Procelli" and "Gullon" are the brands to look for...

There is also a health food shop in Quesada that will help if you ask...

Good luck..

Sort of on the same subject where can you buy gluten free flour?

I tried carrefour thinking they would have it but no luck.

Iceland does gluten free flour (Doves Farm) and gluten free bread (Livwell) and rolls (Bury Black). 4 euro for the bread, though, so not cheap.
Mercadona do a good range of gluten free goods.
