good sofa shops

Can anyone recommend a good sofa shop anywhere within half and hour or so of Quesada. We have tried Sofaland but it was not for us, Procomobel is very expensive but so far the only place we have liked is Hnos Garcia Bros in Torrevieja. We do not want leather. Thanks

Have you looked upstairs at Procomobel? They have an "outlet" section there. We've just bought a large material covered 2 seater there for €285

Garcia's is very good but make sure you check at all their 3 shops. They usually have different things in each one. Also on the same street that one of the Garcia shops is near Iceland, there are several furniture shops there, two very close to Iceland. Muebles La Factoria has a very nice lady who is very helpful. Torregrossa is just up the road opposite the Garcia shop which has some excellent stuff but you need quite a big bank balance to shop in there (think John Lewis as opposed to DFS).
Take a drive up to Almoradi only 10 minutes or so away. Main street has loads of furniture stores and don't forget a new furniture store has just opened in the Quesada Boulevard. No idea what they sell as I haven't been in it yet.

Scratch my last on the one in Quesada Boulevard. Not many prices showing but a reclining armchair at €1,750 and a small, plastic side table at €180 seems a bit excessive. A plastic pool reclining chair looked good at €40 until I realised that was just the sun shade attachment, the chair was €150 on top of that.
Maybe look around somewhere else.

Try Ballester just off the church square in Benijofer - facing the bodega. Having our suite delivered next week after trawling around for miles.

Yes I also got my suite from Ballester. They are reliable. They had some reasonably priced suites and made mine to order in the fabric of my choice quickly and delivered it by the due date. Happy to recommend them. Would have liked leather but not a good idea with a cat!
