How much is a Gas bottle and where to buy one?

We are about to buy a gas barbecue and wondered if anyone can tell us how much a gas bottle is and where we can buy one.

Hi Richardpat i think the orange ones are about 14€ more or less, if you are interested i have four for sale, 10€ each, always handy to have spare ones

I think you can buy or exchange gas bottles in the petrol station behind Consum, last time I looked.

Thanks to you both.

You can't buy a gas bottle straight away. Most will only exchange an empty one for a new one. If you take out a contract by getting one from the gas delivery man or from Don De, it will cost you almost 50 euro for the initial bottle (with gas).
If you can buy one from someone on here or another site then do so as it will save you money. Remember you will need to buy a hose and fitment as well.
For silver bottles, Gama sell them (in exchange) as do Quesada Gas by Consum, the garage in town, Don De and several other supermarkets. The orange ones can be got from Quesada gas, the garage in town, the DIY on the way to Los Montesinos and other places.
Prices are now between 14 and 15 euro a bottle until July when the price (regulated by the government) is reassessed.
