New to the area, where to buy furniture

New to the area, where to buy furniture

Postby karllap » Fri Sep 17, 2021 7:42 pm

Hi, We are just going through with a holiday home purchase and will be wanting a sofa bed and a mattress to start with. Are there any places I can look online and arrange to have delivered for when we get out there?

Appreciate we can use IKEA but was wondering if there are any other places we can look?

Most places will deliver the next day and you have many furniture shops to choose from.

Almoradi on the road to dolores is full of furniture shops. We used la vila and the lady in there was lovely, spoke english and ordered what we wanted. We needed a sofa that had deep seats as my husband is quite tall and she sorted us a great leather sofa at a good price. No pressure to buy either.

Muebles Ballester, Benijofar on the opposite side road to Sabadell Bank near Esther’s coffee shop.

Sofaland Bedland, Quesada it’s not far from Aldi.

SC Furniture and Bedding Quesada - as you approach the arches in Quesada, turn left and it’s in the LHS.

That’s all I know locally, might be a lot more if you Google search. M

Also for good secondhand, sometimes new, furniture House of Furniture https://www.facebook.com/houseoffurniturerojales/ across from BP Garage on way from Rojales into Benijofar
theres also the Global discount place in Benijofar https://www.facebook.com/global.discount.furniture/
Also along from the Arches https://scfurnitureandbedding.com/en/ - good for sofas, beds etc

You can get bedding etc you need from them ( SC furniture and bedding) or Yorkshire Linen a few doors down. Everywhere will deliver and if they have what you want in stock they'll deliver quickly. All these 3 are English speaking.

Others already mentioned are good possiblities too ; Meubles Ballester are reasonably priced. In the past People have also recommended Hnos Garcia on way in to Torrievieja https://muebleshnosgarcia.com/ and the In and Out furniture Place in Quesada ( Lo Marabou area) https://www.facebook.com/In-Out-furnitu ... 738419148/ but haven't tried the last two myself.
