Purchasing items from Amazon U.K.

I am looking to purchase an item from Amazon U.K, because the item I require is not on Amazon E.S which I have usually use. Amazon gives an import fees deposit at checkout, but what I can make out this is an estimate. I would like to know if anyone has ordered from Amazon U.K. and did they pay additional fees.

Could I ask about your experience of using Amazon.es please? Are delivery dates accurate? Thanks

Ours have been good, spot on apart from my airfryer, they said 6 weeks and it arrived in about 2 weeks

With all the items that I purchased from amazon.co.uk, I was never charged import duty. I believe that Amazon, as a multi National company pays duty to the country where items are to be dispatched

Have just ordered a laptop from Amazon UK, (so it has an English keyboard). Import duty was added by Amazon in place of VAT. It has got through customs in Spain without problem, and is due for delivery tomorrow by UPS, a couple of days earlier than originally promised.

That’s exactly my experience with amazon UK

Yesterday I went to purchase an item from Amazon.es it was €46.99 went on to Amazon.uk and got the exact same item for £20.30, so its going to my sisters and can get it next month
