Quorn Products
Quorn Products

Good morning everyone , does anyone know of places to buy Quorn products locally please? I'd be interested to hear of any other meat replacement brands and where to get them, particularly the basics like sausages, mince, meatballs, burgers.
Thanks so much
Carol

I have found that most supermarkets are stocking increased numbers of veggie and vegan products. Our local Consum now stocks vegan “cheese” for example! Great for us veggies to have a choice and if demand increases, hopefully supermarkets will increase their range.

I've never seen the point of vegetarian sausages, mince, meatballs, burgers. I can't imagine the logic behind them.
I'm just curious, what is the attraction?

They also have Quorn at the small market behind the gas station by the arches.

I have seen a good variety of products at the British Food Shop next to La Cata Restaurant in Benijofar, going towards Benimar.

You don't have to kill animals to enjoy them.
They are not pumped full of steroids.
You know what you are eating.
They are very low in fat.
The Scandanavian shop near the small Carrefour at Punta Prima has loads of vegetarian products and the best egg mayonnaise salad ever.

Fabulous! Thanks so much everyone - I wasn't very hopeful of finding any to be honest. You've also given me different supermarkets to explore that I wasn't aware of
Tom 1957 - I can understand your curiosity and Scipio has summed it up beautifully (thank you). I'd been a vegetarian for many years before I met my husband who's a full-on carnivore and so meat substitutes are a good compromise for us and means we don't cook two sets of meals all the time. You can make wonderful tasty meals with Quorn - you should give it a go!
