we have bought a villa in Lo Crispin and arrive at midday on Sunday 14 April, what supermarkets are open to pick up a few essentials ?

The easiest one for you will probably be Johnsons by the garage by the Arches. It's open until either 2pm or 4pm, perhps someone else can give you a definite time.

9 til 4 for Johnson's.
Supavalu./Dialprix has 9 to 2 on their website
Any later and the garages sell bread, UHT milk and other essentials.

According to Google the new Masymas outside the Quesada arch is open from 9-2:30
