Just be aware my neighbour is elderly, the deal sounded good then the salesman talked him into it was by saying the only way they could do the price was if he took out a two year contract!! He fell for it!! So it has cost him a lot, if someone from Reliable wants to dispute this and wants further information it can be provided.

Be Careful!!.

Our apartment does not have a wall mounted air con unit. Last summer we bought a portable unit to go with our fans but it is just not enough. This year we suffered even more - the humidity in the apartment is so high on some days that it is totally uncomfortable both during the day and especially at night. Having windows open with fans on full blast is just nowhere near enough and we just couldn't do another July/August holiday without installing air conditioning.

I would very much welcome recommendations for good, economical units that will also heat in winter, which shops are best to buy from and what we should be looking for from an air conditioning unit.

We are back in November to buy and fit and am keen to know what we are looking for and where to buy before we get back.

Thanks very much in advance for taking the time to give me your advice and the benefit of your experience.

Personally I would recommend buying the unit yourself when they are on offer and getting someone to fit it I found this was the best option for me as I saved around 150 euros in total, Look at the noise output of the inside unit as I found the LG was a lot less noisier and more economical than some others but obviously things are changing all the time.
