Where to buy a filtered water tap and approximate cost?

Perfect! Thank you! That doesn't sound at all arduous, especially when the filters are so cheap and only need replacing annually.

Wow that sounds awful! - Our water around Quesada doesn't smell bad at all or taste funny, although I've never drank it, just when cleaning teeth and rinsing it seems fine.

I also read that a large percentage of the cheaper bottled water is only tap water

I always buy name brands that can be bought in the Uk. I have a good water taste tester..my husband does not drink tea or coffee or any hot drinks and absolutely loves water and in Spain he likes the Nestle water best and doesnt like the taste of the Supermarket own brands. Maybe that says something.

Water is water to me..no taste! :text-lol:

Just one note of caution on the level of water wasted in a Reverse Osmosis water filter system, for every 1 gallon of drinking water produced, between 3 and 5 gallons are wasted down thr drain. This can be collected of course and used for watering the garden, but not many people do this.

we don't have reverse osmosis, just 2 filters no waste at all just filtered straight through.

I have a Reverse Osmosis water filter system since fitting I have not really noticed a significant rise in my water bill cost 69 euros from Brico Depot they also sell them at Aki, filters are around 15 euros a set water is great but they do take up quite a bit of room under the sink.

Thank you Scubydoo.

Dr Doolittle, where did you get your system please and, if you had it fitted, could I have the name, with e-mail address and phone number? I'd like someone on Sunday 17th if possible - at 1.00pm - as we're only over for a few days with a lot to organise and need to do mountains of shopping too. Mind you, I'm really, really looking forward to it!
