Where to Buy Alcohol Free Cava

Where to Buy Alcohol Free Cava

Postby JustGinger » Tue Sep 19, 2023 6:51 pm

Mercadona used to sell alcohol free cava but no longer stock it. Does anyone know where I can buy an alternative?

TIA

Carrefour has several brands with zero alcohol. I think I've seen it in Consum as well, just to point out how more expensive it is compared to the boozy stuff.

Thanks Marcliff. The Mercadona alcohol free was also more expensive than the full fat!

I'll try Consum. Anything to avoid Carrefour!

They have Freixenheit Junior which is 0%
They also have 0% wine which is kept with the fruit juices. Red not so bad but avoid the white.

Try con gas water with a good slice of lemon poured into a beautiful glass. Far superior to fake fizz. After 1 glass of it, it becomes sickening.

Thanks. I have tried that. I drink the freixnet zero in the UK and it's quite dry. It actually tastes better than some of the 'full fat' cava!

If you just want to reduce the alcohol intake, there are some very good low alcohol ones around. Lidl do a 5% Frizante Cava and a Hugo elderflower and mint fizzy 4% which my OH likes a lot. Some other rose low alcohol in most of the supermarkets and Aldi has a couple of Muscat (bit sweet for the OH) at 4% as well.
