Some years ago, it was virtually impossible to buy a kettle here. The Spanish aren't really into them and I remember one chap hiring out a flat to a Spanish couple who used it to boil milk.

People were being advised, at the time, to bring them with them from UK.
Now, of course, they are everywhere but so are many things which used to be virtually impossible to buy. Must be us Brits bringing our filthy tea and instant coffee drinking ways with us.

Oh, and we do get many "where can I buy"...... whatever which normally elicits an "every supermarket sells it" response which is then followed by loads of posts naming individual supermarkets for some reason.

The Chinese stores sell them. I got one very cheap a year ago and it is going well still.
