Where to buy Nam Pla (Thai Fish Sauce)please?

Postby AJepson » Sat Jun 11, 2016 11:09 am

Hi everyone!

can anyone tell me where I can buy Thai Fish sauce (NAM PLA) ?

As you can imagine non of our guests from the UK have offered to bring some over in their suitcase due to the risk of breakage and therefore the chance of smelling like rotting fish for the rest of their hols!!

Apologies for jumping on this post, but actually, the location of a Chinese/Asian food supermarket, would be really helpful !

I believe the building that used to be a Brico warehouse has now become an Asian supermarket.
It is on Calle Joaquín García Sánchez, 13, which is the roundabout before you reach Carreforre, then
drive behind what used to be the Indoor Market.

There is an Asian food supplies shop by the bus station in Torrevieja. The one in the centre by the market, not the one on the seafront. They have an excellent choice of all Asian foodstuffs.

I have tried gama but no luck. Yesterday I was on that parade of shops and the chinese store Terry has mentioned was all closed up with the security shutters across. They sold a great range of frozen dim sum. I do hope they havent closed down
