I have been looking for 10 years for pictures like this, ever since we moved into our holiday home. I was even hoping to see some artists along the promenades by the beach, like there used to be in Spain(in my younger days!) with beach scenes, whitewash houses, Spanish town scene paintings and more ...but no, nothing like this. I have never seen any in the markets either. They have all modern art pictures like you can get anywhere, like Ikea.

If anyone knows please tell us.

If you want real quality oil paintings at 100€ and over (not cheap but large and great value) have a look in Quesada fish and chips. They have quite a few inside hanging up, some lovely Spanish dancers and large floral ones too the last I was there.

There are loads of Spanish type paintings at the Caves in Rojales. First Sunday of every month you will see LOADS...as well as pottery, leather and the famous quirky Cave Bar...

Martin the artist will be there and will paint you anything you want...always worth a visit..
