Worthingtons or Similar Bitter

Worthingtons or Similar Bitter

Postby Phil_pjb » Fri Apr 26, 2024 11:07 am

Hi everyone, hope you're safe and well.

I have my Dad out for another 3 weeks and he's not much of a lager drinker. In our local at home he drinks Worthingtons, Doombar, Smooth and such.

I know we can get some of them in a can, John Smiths in a can is quite popular, but is there anywhere you know of that servers a bitter like this on tap? ( i understand the issues of keeping it, storing it chilling it etc, so just asking if anyone knows of somewhere that actually serves it)

Thanks

Hi, The watering hole San Luis has Old Speckled Hen on tap, I do miss a decent pint of real ale living here, good luck.

You could try Triple Brew in Rojales. It's a micro brewery and my hubby who is a big beer drinker really likes some of their draft beers.

La Unica bar at La Maquesa golf has Spitfire bitter on draught and last time I went into Cooper's Arms they had John Smith's on draught but I haven't been in for a while.

Think your dad is going to enjoy the "pub crawl"
The Lo Crispin Tavern sells John Smiths on draught too.
