When we stayed in Quesada this summer we bought a travel car seat. Nearly all car hire companies wanted around €5 per day to hire a car seat, so We bought one for £30 here in the U.K. It inflates in no time and has a bag you carry it in when it''s not being used. The company selling them is called Bubblebum. It is for sale on quite a few websites, including Amazon.

A 5 year old would only need a booster seat. They can be bought in Carrefour, Lidl ect are only about 10 euros.
