What do you think of the new website design?

If you are not on a mobile device then you may have noticed we have changed the look of the website a little bit.

Please let us know what you think! Your feedback really matters to us as we can easily change and fix things if there is something not working for you.

We wanted to make the different parts of the website clearer to navigate using the top and left menus. If you are on a large screen you can now hover over a menu item in the yellow bar at the top and it expands out to show you all the different sub forums available to you.

Another big reason why we wanted to improve the site was to make the desktop site fit better on iPads and other smaller screens - we have found a lot of you use these to browse the website.

We have also updated the site search to use Google search - this should hopefully bring you back better search results.

Hi Alex, at first I thought why change it? But that's because with age you don't feel comfortable with change lol
Anyway, it's very good soon got used to it, I think that the layout is clearer to see.
I think that it's great you take the time and trouble to keep improving the forum,
Of course in my mind it's a great forum, keep up the good work Alex and thank you

Ok we'll have a think about this. Would one option be to add an "advanced search" link underneath the search box at the top on every page, which would take you to the previous version of the search functionality that you like. This is still available here:
