Hi Benjy,

I think this 'stuttering' etc may be cured by simply re-booting the IPTV unit (I am assuming you are using an IPTV box for the TV?) if so, just switch off / disconnect from mains and after a few minutes break, fire it up again.

Hope that helps

We get that all the time and we are with Telemicra, In fact we have been waiting a week for them to come and sort the tv out for the 20 odd channels we cannot view because of it breaking up.

I was thinking that it will be better, like I have in Sweden, to get the same Fiber for Internet and telephone, Satelite for TV. Fiber comes and goes, just because there is some work somewhere in the area or central.
It's often a couple of hours and sometimes all night/day, but is irritating.
If I had everything through fiber, when it cuts I have nothing.
Now I have at least TV and mobile with good bandwidth so when fiber crashes I can always use the mobile bandwidth for internet.
As I read all the problems lots of people have, having everything on fiber, I think it will be a good way to go separating TV from Internet/telephone.

I've had a few problems last 2 weeks on the odd moment with Telfy - I know it's not IPTV as had happen on this and Netflix, which are not related - last night no signal for 2 mins, lost everything - happened a few time recently and speeds / instability creeping in - certainly more than a month ago.

i find that watching via my itv box, via Telfy fibre, that it doesnt buffer any more it just stops and i can guarantee thats at least once a day especially watching through modbro
i also think you get the cheapest modem on the market as the wi fi is pretty slow too
