Depends on what space you have but most cleaning products are around the same price in Spain and you can get similar if not the same products. I suppose if you have any favourite brands then bring some of them to save you shopping for them straight away.
Food is good and there isn't much at all that you can't get here in Spain these days.
I would bring some things that you buy from the chemist that you may need to tide you over but even those you will be able to buy in different brands/names. I do bring things like TCP / Calamine lotion/ favourite painkillers/ cold remedies/ preferred Sun cream and after sun (I like boots Soltan with insect repellent and have not found any like it in Spain) I get it at the UK airport each time I travel back.
It's just a matter of thinking of things you really couldn't be without for a while, until you get used to shopping in Spain.

Hope this helps. Others may give you other good ideas too.

Jan
Ps. By the way, Lidls in Quesada has some really good cleaning products, same as they have in UK Lidls. Our neighbours also use Iceland in Spain for many of the UK products they need or crave.

Bring plenty of marmite, have it on your toast daily, and you wont get many mossie bites, also if you bring enough you should make a few instant friends too. (seems not many places stock the stuff)

Apart from Gama, Johnsons, Consum and Iceland you mean?

When we went to UK recently we looked around for stuff to bring back. Most stuff was almost as expensive as here. We ended up bringing back two tubs of Lurpak (yes, that is quite expensive here although the Mercadona spreadable is quite good) and a couple of packs of Halloumi cheese as it was expensive in Gama and Iceland - only to find Consum now stock it at a lot lower price than those. Ho, hum.
Same with tea bags. SWMBO likes Glengettie (sp) tea but will use Yorkshire tea at a pinch. However Amazon uk ships it over here and we now have enough tea bags to last about 5 years!!!!
Stuff you couldn't get here 6 or 7 years ago is now plentiful in the shops around here.
All I brought back was a tube or T-Cut due to the excellent way people park here and hold on to their shopping trolleys (not).

You need bring nothing. My advice is adapt to the Spanish products and save a fortune rather than buying over priced UK products. If you have to have something it is available here easily.

Ahh, STornoway Black pudding... delicious and none else like it... Re the OP question. yes most things you want can be found here at similar prices. So you would do fine if you brought nothing more than what's needed to tide you over until you get to the shops. However sonce you are coming by car and have room there are probably a few things that you could think about it, depends on your own individual tastes and preferences. As Jan said, if you have specific favourite things or brands . For example if you like speciality teas they would be trickier to get here ( eg I bring Twinings' Plummy' Earl Grey and Pukka Cinnamon tea over for both me and my sister... ) Ordinar, but it won't keep fresh forever...Some imported things like sauce mixes can be got here in loads of places but are much dearer as they are brought in really I guess for expats . SO if you like cooking with those ( eg Colman's 'sausagecasserole, 'beef casserole' mixes . You can get them for c 50p in Uk but are typically around 1.30 euro here ...) . And another example would be if you are into the individual coffee '3-in-1 ' sachets ( my husband likes them, I plead not guilty) you can get 10 for 99p in Uk but they are around 2.40 euros for 10 in Consum. Sun tan lotion can be cheaper in the UK ( depends where you buy it) and the very very very bestest cure for insect bites ANTISAN cannot be bought here - I stock up on loads of this when coming over. So it really just boils down to any particular brands/types of medicines/pharmaceuticals you like and odds and ends of very 'British' store cupboard stuff which might be a bit cheaper in the Uk than here but you can get most things....

Isn't bringing coffee to Spain a bit like sending coals to Newcastle?
Anthisan equivalent in Spain is polaramine which is the active ingredient in Anthisan.
Lots of flavoured teas in Lidl and Carrefour including cinnamon (Te Canela y Jengibre - cinnamon and ginger)around 2 euro a pack with Hornimans cinnamon, ginger and orange at about the same price.
Also be aware of some farmacias selling branded things like paracetamol. The one in town charged 5 euro for a pack of 30 branded paracetamol which the Canal farmacia sold generic at 37 centimos. Same with omeprazole for gastric probs, 14 euro in town and 2 euro in the Canal one.
We did used to bring loads back from UK some years ago but now find most things are available here although, with the pound going down, can be more expensive when you do the conversion (oh for when a euro was worth 60p when we first came out).
Other things like Aromat (which you can get from Iceland) can be substituted with crushed Spanish chicken stock cubes.
