My honest advice is...
Bring a couple of light weight bath sheets for your personal use.
Zara Home sell the most gorgeous bedding with all the perfect accessories. Their towels are so gorgeous. Remember, you don’t need too many unless you plan to do a lot of entertaining. I bought my husband 2 bath sheets in Carrefour..excellent quality. I also bought bath sheets in Alicante in Corte Ingles..again,still like new and a terrific size if you are tall.
Household accessories in Zara are perfect. Their air freshener is expensive at £17.95 but it is well worth the cost as it smells divine...white jasmine. Zara liquid soap costs €3.99 and is sold for use in the shower or wash hand basin. In a Habaneras , there is a shop called Douglas, they sell the new shower mousse...you will never go back to liquid gels Gwen you use the mousse. We buy it in the U.K. much cheaper Nivea Silk so you could bring it with you if bringing a suitcase. At the Sunday market (lemon Grove) there is a stall outside on the road between the two levels of market...such value for money. They sell mattress protectors..all sizes, towels and goodness knows what else. I have bought the white towels and mattress protectors and they were so cheap and terrific quality. You can now buy mirrors, pictures and all types of wall art in the local Chinese shops and all much cheaper than when we bought 16years ago. Remember that Ikea is in Murcia, not too far away if you want to purchase all the other items for your new home. There is also a DFS in San Javiour..not been but no doubt similar to those in the U.K. White voile curtains can be purchased and made to measure from your local market. Take your time choosing the furniture and make sure you buy a decent quality suite. If you can, do your homework when buying your bed. This will be a costly experience so make certain to buy the best you can afford. If your room can take it, go for a king or super king as sometimes, you will want to move to your own side of the bed to get cool! Enjoy. You are making the right move..I really love going back and forth to our place in Torrevieja. It is beautiful here in N.I. today and a joy to look out into the garden where everything is beginning to bloom, the birds are feeding from all the seeds my husband puts out for them and Robin Red Breast continues to come back or perhaps he never leaves!

Hi
We are just selling our apartment in La Finca. We have a new 3 seater sofa /chaise for sale. We purchased it December 2016 but only been to the house for two weeks last year and here now for the sale in two weeks. So as good as new. Purchased for 1400 euros. It turns into a bed. Has storage under the chaise and arm. Contemporary design. Mid brown and stainless steel. If you are interested I can send pictures. Looking for 700 euros.

The Yorkshire linen shops are a good place for your bedding towels and curtains, and their prices are very good too.

Go and see Jan at SC Furniture. Just past the Bowling Alley in Quesada. Excellent, honest and efficient one to one service, we got all of our furniture and bedding from there. The quality is very good and not over expensive.

We have bought most of our towels/bedding from Jysk - its a sort of Danish version of IKEA and there is a small branch in Quesada. Prices are reasonable and the quality is good.
What I will add is that the bedding sizes seem hard to fathom. The shapes and dimensions seem to differ shop to shop between Spanish sizes, european sizes, UK sizes etc. We have to be very careful in measuring whatever pillow/quilt/mattress we are seeking to cover before heading to the shops to make any purchases! Unlike the UK where its a given when buying for a single/double/king/queen.

Primark do a nice towel, it's their more expensive one but not very expensive really about 11 euros or 13 I think for a bath sheet. The thing is, you hang them on the line and they fade, have them a couple of years and buy new. I found El Corte Inglis very good quality but you certainly pay for it, the ones I looked at were silly prices 80 - 110 euros each!
