Living in Quesada

Postby Aboyne » Wed Jan 18, 2017 11:25 am

Hi. Moving to Spain. Like Quesada. I am a single lady and retired. I am looking to move for the warmer climate. Is this area suitable for a single lady. I like to get involved in certain activities and enjoy meeting people. Is it easy to make friends there. Thanks

Hi there

I'm a single lady, although not retired yet, and I moved to Quesada a year ago.

I found it quite easy to settle in here, everything you need is available, but you will need a car, as public transport is very scarce here, other than taxis.

As far as I can see there are lots of activities around here and plenty of people to socialise with.

So just do it... but just wait for the rain, snow and storms to finish! Its been rather odd weather over the last month!
And the adventure continues... :-)

:text-thankyouyellow: sorry to bother you again. Are there a lot of Brits living here. Do you find that there are a lot of single people also.

Rojales (of which Quesada is a part) has an expat population of 60% (probably more because that's just the ones on the electoral role) and, of those, some 80% are British.
