White Knight Tumble Dryer Not Heating

Our 12 year old White Knight 767c tumble dryer that we brought from the UK has worked perfectly until today. Everything appears to be working fine but we are getting no heat. the water collection tray is empty and the filters are clear.
Any ideas please? Is it worth repairing?

Could simply be the thermostat,which used to be a simple bimetallic strip worn out or the heater neither should be that expensive
