We had sliced bread, Hungarian beef goulash soup then I had pork steak (as you say it's NOT pork "CHOP) wrapped in bacon served with a wild mushroom creamy sauce & steak potatoes, my husband had chicken breast wrapped in bacon in a red sauce & steak potatoes. Their 'steak potatoes' are thick slices of potato with their skins still on, deep fried.... beautiful. Followed by home made & very rich tiramisu & a pancake with chocolate sauce inside, both served with spray cream. 6€ each.
I asked for their business card for their phone number.image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
Thanks for the card with phone number - Just what we need!

Arrived yesterday afternoon and straight to the Bells last night. Tasty, economic and charming. Will have to work my way through the Mains in time but will not veer from the Goulasch Soup.

We went yesterday around 2pm. The few tables up on the raised area were full (but it was shaded there anyway so would've been coolish) & owners had removed all seating from garden enclosure which was in the sun, daft idea that!
We went to Green Baize where they'd rolled back the new toldos roof to let the sun in. It was hot there.

It was lovely yesterday with all the sunshine in the day. We walked past and it was quite busy(ish). We may go there tonight (It's between Goyos and The Bells tonight!). Went to La Campana the other evening. We love the food in both, it's not easy to choose which one to go in.
Sorry to hear about your recent troubles Glyn - At least you can look forward to your next trip here.
Jan.

We took 6 friends recently and warned them that the portions were not massive but they have made them bigger!! even better value and the same quality and price , they were all very impressed.
