I'm a tea addict as well as liking wine. Not as keen on coffee but love tea. The cup doesn't matter to me but my mother-in-law used to have to drink tea in a delicate china cup & saucer. When she used to come to us she turned her nose up & hardly touched her tea if I forgot & gave it to her in a mug. I don't care what cup or mug but the bigger the better for me!!
Do I need some more smilies now Sandra.... saying 'give me wine' & 'give me tea'?

What's the best wine in Quesada. Why don't you want to go to Habeneras.

The best wine for daily consumption can be found at "El Bodega", opposite the garage near the arches, next to Rosa Tours.
Good range of red wines from 1.10€ per litre, and 13% white wine for the whooses among us. He sells a very nice port for 2.40€ a litre. If you prefer something with a bit more poke, Gin, Vodka, White Rum & Brandy are available in plain wrapping for 8.50€ for 2 litres. (Brandy not much use, but others fine)
The Quesada Wine Club also negotiate discounts for people who loike (? That's a Norfolk word....) to buy nice wines a few bottles at a time . Popular Rioja wines, Rueda's etc are all nice to drink. Sadly we can't supply the discerning Brit with his favourite "Hirondelle" nor "Lambrusco" (the wine with so little alcohol that it is legal in UK to sell it to children)
If you want to try something a bit different, and not break the bank, try "Antonio Banderas A10 Crianza" for about 14 squids a bottle, or "Martin Codex Albariño 2010" for about a tenner. Both need to be consumed with food to bring out the best. Happy drinking

I can vouch for the vodka from El Bodega at the arches - 2 litres for 8.50euro is incredible. We discovered the shop last time we were there after our very nice next door neighbours recommended it.
Those living in Spain would pass-out at the prices we have to pay for our drink. The cheapest vodka recently(and I always compare!) is Sainsburys Basic vodka @ £8.72 for 70cl (£12.46 a litre) It's drinkable and very similar to the Bodega vodka but at £25 for 2 litres, it's £16.50 more!! Unbelievable. I'm seriously starting to think it may be worth paying for a suitcase for the hold next time, to bring some back.

A new wine club for the residents of Ciudad Quesada is proving very popular with it’s members.
The brainchild of a group of friends, the Quesada Wine Club is enjoying success, and is looking for more like-minded people from the Quesada area to join their group. They say:
“We are simply a group of amateur, private individuals who enjoy good wines in pleasant company. We have no vested interest in any business connected with the wine trade, but would like to promote the enjoyment of wine.=========================================================Where does your wine club meet up - or is there a different venue every time?
We feel that it is a means whereby people like us can experience good quality wines that they might otherwise be unable to afford, and gain enjoyment from it. We do adhere to the “Drink Sense” guidelines, so it is not a booze-up, simply appreciation of fine wines.
The wine club meets on the third Wednesday of each month, with a break in July and August due to the numbers of residents who disappear for the summer.
An annual subscription of €10 covers membership, while a monthly charge covers the cost of the wines consumed at each meeting. Further funds are raised by means of a raffle, the profits from which are put towards various trips with a wine theme, and also an annual Christmas Party for members. The Club will be non-profit-making.”
