Activities for Children - Urgent

Activities for Children - Urgent

Postby don » Sun Apr 08, 2018 9:24 pm

Hi All

I've got my grandchildren coming this week and the weather's not looking great. They're boy age 12 and girl 9. After bowling and crazy golf, I'm struggling for things to do with them and need ideas NOW.....HELP!

Sadly too cold for the pool.

How about popping to the supermarket, getting some fresh ingredients and having a day making all kinds of tapas. My kids love doing it. Gives them a fun day, a sense of achievement and a tasty tea... Yummy

That's a good idea......teaching children how to make and enjoy food ,pity more parents don't do that, most just take um to Macdonalds or KFC or such like and some children don't even know were food comes from.......sad
I remember 30 odd years ago back in the uk , my children brought a friend home for tea,for pudding we were having fresh pineapple, I ask the child if she wanted some ,she did,nt know what it was!

Rio safari park, Elche is a very good day out, good value too. They have a swimming pool and tube which won't be of much interest this time of year, but it's a great way to cool off on a hot day.
