Travelling With Pets

Hi all,
We will be taking longer breaks in Spain at some point in the future, and will be taking our dog when we do.
If anyone has any experience or tips on this, i.e dog friendly accommodation for the journey through France etc, vaccinations and certificates required for return to the UK, and anything you think useful, it would be appreciated.

We used to travel down to Spain with our 2 German shepherds prior to living here and we used to come over by the tunnel and then drive down to Montpelier in France near to the border with Spain, where we stayed in a dog friendly hotel- Le Clos De L'aube Rouge, phone number +33499588000 email [email protected] they have a large grassed area at the back where you can exercise your dogs great place and very nice people.

~Forgot to say yu will need a pet passport, rabies jabs worming and tick so that they can get back into the UK on your return easy peasy. Plenty of really good service areas through France and exercise places for your dog.
