any recommendations of shops where I can buy batting.No success at markets! (Yet).

There is a curtain/fabric/soft furnishing shop in Almoradi amongst the furniture shops at the AP7 end where you maybe able to get it. They make up curtains blinds etc so I would have thought they would stock it.
