THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO REMOVE CEMENT & PLASTER FROM TILES
THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO REMOVE CEMENT & PLASTER FROM TILES
by Rosslev21 » Wed May 09, 2018 6:10 pm
I have just taken possession of a new build house. I have significant amounts of plaster and cement on my outside tiles. After scraping away the excess i am finding it very hard to remove the ingrained residue. Can anyone recommend a product that will remove this and where I can by it. A tiler in the UK recommended Lithofin but I cannot seem to find this in Spain.
Any help greatly appreciated as good old fashion elbow grease and scrubbing brush is not working.

Agua Fuerte, it's potent stuff. Don't get it on anything that matters (Like skin). It will remove cement etc from tiles without damaging the surface.
PS you'll get it from any hardware store, and possibly the Chinese shops too.

Warning if you have not used this or know nothing about it be very careful
This is an acid that you would not be able to buy in the UK! yes it removes cement etc but also removes skin and eyes etc Sorry if this sounds dramatic but it is a very strong acid and it is recommended that you wear goggles gloves and protective clothing do not take this stuff lightly! also do not breath in the fumes as it can damage your lungs!
