Hi Jan, do you know if the Quesada to Guardamar bud stops at El Raso? The published timetable doesn't make this clear. I know there is a service from El Raso but this one is more direct, plus it would be great sometimes to get the bus to Quesada rather than taking the car.Thanks.

It doesn't seem to do a scheduled stop at El Raso but there was someone who got off the bus at the roundabout at ElRaso last time we were on the bus back. The bus driver seemed very accommodating and when we once asked to get off in Quesada, as at first we were not sure where they stopped on the way back, he thought we wanted the Pharmacy in Doña Pepa and stopped there but we explained again and he smiled nicely and carried on. I wonder if you found out the approx time it passes El Raso you may get it to stop with your hand out. Theres a timetable on the forum. Locals seem to hail some bussesand get them to stop. However the times coming back from Guardamar are few and far between, We spend the day there and get the bus back at around 6-7pm.

If you go to Guardamar and miss the bus, there are taxis at the bus station... it should cost about 13€ or so to get back from Guardamar to Quesada, depending which bit you go to..

If there are 4 of you it is almost as cheap as bus fare..and door to door

Bars and restaurants usually have Taxi numbers. Just ask. They called for one when we were at the beach in Guardamar and didn't have transport. The only one to let me down was a British Estate Agent in Quesada who didn't have a clue.
