Lizarran is a Tapas bar and is part of a large Chain of Franchised restaurants within Spain. They are all over Spain including (locally) Torrevieja, Elche, Alicante and Murcia. You 'pic 'n' mix' from the hot and cold tapas and your bill is calculated by the number of cocktail sticks you have on your plate - Each tapa comes on a piece of bread with the tapa held on with a cocktail stick or larger tapas in little dishes. They also come round with hot Tapas while you are eating and the same applies for price, small sticks and large sticks. A bell rings when the hot tapas are being brought out.

Tuesdays and Sundays all Tapas (pinchos) are only 1 euro each during the day and evening (Edited 2016)

It's an attractive bar with bar seating and comfortable table seating and the drinks seem reasonably priced. They also serve a selection of large plated meals (Raciones).

Lizarran is situated next door to Spanglish bar and close to El Toro bar in the Consum area of Doña Pepa.

Free WiFi is available and there is a large children's play area upstairs inside too - Tickets can be bought at the bar for the play area.

They have TV's there showing various Sporting events.
