Our thoughts should be with all those who have suffered at the hands of a monster in Manchester on Monday night.

While it is correct to express our sympathy and condolences for this and similar horrors we should seek views on what action if any our potential MPs propose to take in order to prevent such people entering the UK and expel those with terrorist links who are already here before we go to the ballot box on 8 June

One of the problems though Ron, is that the perpetrator of this crime, was born in the UK. How do you propose we deal with that?

Those terrorists born in the UK should be dealt with under the law if they cannot be deported. However in my view the law needs to be changed to to this. Prison is too good for these people

Apparently the UK born bomber was 'allowed' to go back and forth to the war torn country of Libya even when he had been reported to the authorities as a possible security risk due to his background.
What is needed is better checks on who is coming and going and who is living here already. It can't be easy, even though with hindsight it looks like it should be but they don't go to these type of countries to sit by the pool!
So terribly sad what happened.

In the mean time I learned that his father was back in his birth land after he was kindly accepted in the UK as a refugee. In my opinion all family members has to be deported back to the ground the came from (also their children born in the UK p.e.) after it was clear that one of them had extremist activities.

Jan, Ron, if he'd been found to have broken a law he'd have been dealt with but, he hadn't until the other night.

Yes dealt with by the weak justice system in the Uk but bear in mind if we broke laws in their country justice would be swift and severe. In the uk we just keep giving them more benefits to buy explosives to murder our people. Disgustingly! The uk needs to get its act together. I'm not a communist by any means but Vladimir Putin has warned them and he'll follow it up while uk stands back and waits for the next atrocity .....end of rant
